Description
‘Destinations’ sings to us about the ‘daily grind’ and entrapment we may find ourselves in, from wage slavery – to actual slavery.
‘Destinations’ is inspired by the capacity for each of us to not surrender, to be aware of the things that constrain us, and to persist in arriving at our own destination.
(lyrics)
I’ve reached my destination
Arriving on time
Get up hit the station
I thought I was just fine
I can’t wake up
We’ve found our occupation
Assembled all in line
Led in to a rotation
A stolen life’s a crime
I won’t give up
I won’t give up
I won’t give up
I’ve reached my destination
Arriving on time
Get up hit the station
I thought I was just fine
I can’t wake up
A stolen life’s a crime
Assembled all in line
A shadow of a cage
Frames an empty gaze
I won’t give up
We’ve woken up
